Founder & Creative Direction
Paul Jenkin is the founder of Inferno Books and curator of heroic fiction.
Driven by a lifelong passion for Sword & Sorcery, pulp fantasy, and mythic storytelling, he created Inferno Books to build the kind of publishing house he felt was missing—one that treats the genre not as nostalgia, but as a living, evolving form.
His vision centres on grounded heroes, elemental symbolism, and worlds shaped by fire, blood, and consequence rather than destiny. Through Inferno Books, he curates original and interactive works that honour the grit and mythic weight of classic Sword & Sorcery while rejecting spectacle without substance.
With a background in holistic practice and creative disciplines, his work is informed by a long-standing interest in transformation, resilience, and legacy—themes that underpin the direction of the imprint.
